Walk-through:
Part 1: Speak to Redbeard Frank in Port Sarim and say you are in search of treasure. He'll tell you he can help if you get him some Karamajan Rum.
Part 2: Go southwest of Redbeard Frank and talk to one of the Seaman and pay the fare to go to Karamja. Cross the gangplank and head west. Once you see the bar sign go into the building and buy some Karamjam rum from Zambo. Now that you got the rum head to building northeast of the bar. Speak to Luthas and ask about a job. He'll tell you he needs you to pack a crate with bananas. West of his house are banana trees. Pick about ten bananas and fill the crate by his house. Then use the Karamjam Rum on the crate and you'll stash it in. You need to stash it because the Customs Officer will search you for stuff like spirits and beer. Now talk to Luthas and the crate with your rum will be sent to Port Sarim. Now take the ship back to Port Sarim.
Part 3: Go west and you'll see Gerrant's shop. In the back there's a white apron, take it and put it on. Go south to Wydin's food shop and ask him about a job. Now go to the back and search the crate with the banana on it. Now go talk to Redbeard Frank. He'll tell you a short story about a pirate he used to work for and then he'll give you a key.
Part 4: Now go to the Blue Moon Inn in Varrock. Go upstairs and go to the room with a chest in it. Open the chest and you will get a message from it. It'll tell you to go to the park in Falador. Head there and make sure you got a spade. Dig a few steps away from the statue in the directions that is pointing in. Once you dig in the right spot you'll get a message saying you finished the quest.
